Freedom

Bev is free of her feeding tube and extremely pleased about it!  You would think she had just won a big bag of special yarn she was that excited.  Must admit that it makes her look much better.  Never believed that that particular fashion accessory would ever catch on.  The Doctors are even letting her have solid food.  Now if she only stop the projected response each evening, I know that everyone would be much, much happier.  Having the food only once in the throat is her new goal.  It is hospital food but she really wants to keep it inside her.

My Son is also free of his life, the future he feared, the present he was unhappy with and the darkness he had seen.  Now to face the future without him after 50 years with him.  Funeral is Saturday.

Did put my knitting back in my purse today.  Hesitate to guess when I will knit.  With my memories, support of family and friends, and prayer I will get through these hours.
