New Year, New Start

A lot has changed certainly since the last post but anyone following this blog know what the changes were.  Suffice it to say that 2 deaths within 5 weeks and a major move 3 weeks later were enough to change everything.
Have kept knitting and did a lot of hats for Christmas.  Will show some over the next few days - hopefully.
The new start is a KAL (Knit A Long) with the designer and people from all over the world.  My yarn is a lovely purple and it is for a circular shawl.  Actually there are 5  different shades of purple to use and they go from the lightest -- this one

to the darkest.  Yarn is so very, very soft and shadings that I like.  Now just to keep working on it and all the other projects that I have.

 

Did 4 loads of wash today, several hours at work and this bit of knitting.  Not bad for the first day of the year.  Now time to have something to eat, watch TV and get some more knitting done.
