Earthquake

As you may have seen on the web or in news broadcasts, Ontario - Quebec had a bit of an earthquake today.

Where I am and where I was (on the main floor of a 16 storey concrete building), I barely felt it. Know it gave some people on the higher floors a bit of a scare.

We were lucky though that we regularly have people working on the sides of the building to check for any problems and to repair them. They had dropped a scaffold off at noon hour but weren't working on the building today. Would have been a bit too much excitement, I think, for them.

Had our Annual General Meeting tonight and it went well and fairly brief. Now to have my supper and do some knitting. It is very hot and sticky. We were suppose to have thunderstorms but no sign of them yet which is really good.
