Sunday Visit

Had a lazy day with some cleaning and watching golf before David cooked me a very good supper.  Included kale done with oil and salt and it is very, very tasty.  After supper he took off with a firend in his car so I took off in his.

Up to the hospital to have a very nice visit with Bev.  Her family was mostly all out of town today so she had had only her husband up for awhile in the morning.  Almost non-stop visitors yesterday so today gave her a chance to nap whenever she wanted.

Did several walks today inbetween the naps and has plans to walk tomorrow with the lady in the bed across from her.  They have the spot beside the window and the two men in the room are beside the wall.  Seems very fair to me.

Drainage is now clear and her colour is so improved!  No longer the strong yellow.  Her incision must be starting to heal as there is some irritation starting. 

Family has already been told that she expects a good birthday party this year and that she is not to be left to mind the children at the campgrounds for quite awahile after she goes home.  Good advice as far as I am concerned.

One good sign is that she started reading a book.  Can't remember what she read but she did get it out.  And there is a craft sale at the campgrounds next month so she is planning what she can knit so another good sign.
